A lovely boutique hotel in a residential neighborhood. Very convenient for tram and metro access. Walking distance to Heineken and Rijksmuseum.

Loved this place - pricey for a solo traveller. I wish I had taken advantage of the highlights in the area. Would recommend to friends and family. No breakfast option was totally fine .. did not realize I could store things in their refrigerator if I decided to eat something light in. Too much to see and do in Amsterdam - would come back. Thank you

Good value hotel (for Amsterdam) in a quiet street with good public transport options and near the Museum district. No breakfast on offer but there is a nice lounge and an area that was probably used for breakfast in the past. My single room in the annex building was unfortunately very noisy due to the machinery for the lift. I was hoping no one would come back late but my prayers didn't work and I had interrupted sleep up to about 3am. I bought some earplugs the next day after asking for a room move (none available) and the hotel desk not having any earplugs. I don't think they should use this room as I can't imagine anyone can sleep through the noise. I don't like earplugs and I removed them half way through the night. I then got woken up by someone leaving early! There's also the concern about sleeping through wakeup alarms and fire alarms.

I had a really lovely experience staying here. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice, professional and helped me when I needed an ice pack for an injury. My room was upgraded which was a very nice surprise, the shower and products were awesome. I also liked that it was close to Heineken and fairly close to a metro station. The only down side was that the building is very old and therefore the stairs/floors can be quite loud with people coming and going so I would suggest earplugs. There was seemingly also no AC in my room, it wasn’t too hot but I did need to use the fan they provided to sleep at night.

What a beautiful, spacious room! Great location, slightly away from the busy centers so you can rest, but close enough to jump right in when you’re ready! Very close to easy transport that takes you right into Dam Square and Central Station. I came in from the train and it was very easy to get to the hotel from public transit. One word of caution, the building is older so there is only 1 lift (small) and very steep stairs. Would not recommend for ADA.

Great place. Quiet despite being in a major city. Friendly staff. The receptionist was happy to lend me an iron and an adapter for electronics. Smallish but good rooms. It's nice to stay in a hotel that isn't part of one of those international chains.

Location is great. Close to museums, art galleries, restaurants, transportation. Rooms way too small. Lack of amenities. Ie. No fridge, ice or air conditioning. Charges for all extras including coffee. Decent shower but only hand soap and shampoo, nothing more. Reception staff was helpful regarding local dining locations and tram operations. Room rates are comparable to other higher end properties on our European holiday.
