We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Amsterdam and overall had a pleasant experience. The location was excellent — very close to public transit and supermarkets, which made getting around the city very convenient. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
However, there were a few drawbacks. There was no phone in the room, so we couldn’t contact the reception when needed. We also had to check out very early in the morning (around 3 a.m.), and unfortunately, there was no staff at the reception to assist us.
During our stay, I also had an unpleasant surprise — while walking in the room, I stepped on something sharp and found a sewing needle on the floor. Thankfully, it didn’t injure me, but it could have led to serious consequences. I even took a photo of it as proof. This incident suggests that the cleaning could be more thorough.
Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall and appreciated the hotel’s convenient location and good service.
