I’ve been visiting this hotel since the mid 1990’s. Way back then I was a lowly bank clerk on expenses and found the stature of the hotel imposing and I felt underdressed. Even back then I never felt judged or was made to feel inferior. Fast forward 30 years and we can afford a harbour view room and to eat in the hotel yet the same welcoming atmosphere still exists. A testament to the training and professionalism being instilled to this day

Excellent hotel. Minor complaint: Breakfast buffet was exactly the same every day, no changes, and only good—not outstanding—variety and quality.
