We booked a non-smoking standard double room which had a strong odor of cigarettes. Our stay was for one night and we were pressed for time to make a dinner reservation and show so I did not bring it to anyone's attention until we checked out. I was told housekeeping would be advised. I feel that housekeeping should have addressed it when the room was cleaned to ready it for a new check in. In addition, the bed was a little lumpy and uncomfortable, and the carpet and bathroom in general were dated. The paid buffet breakfast had a very nice selection, the food was good and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. Valet service on checkout was slow as there was only one staff running back and forth until additional staff members started working. Parking, whether self-parking or valet, is expensive for a hotel with not much entertainment or activities considering most guests are likely heading to the boardwalk hotels for dinner, entertainment and gambling where you end up paying another parking fee.
