The classic style and decor of this hotel is beautiful! Staff was friendly. Room amenities adequate. If you're expecting a new shiny hotel you may want to stay somewhere else. Looking for art deco charm, convenient location at a reasonable price for a shore property, I think the Claridge is a great option.

The hotel was old looking with no updating. The room had a buzzing sound all night. Again, old looking. Can be scary walking through where the old casino and conference rooms, etc. were. The vending machines did not work, if so, I lost monies in them. Staff is just okay. Cost is what makes it attractive.

I mistakenly booked a 2 full size beds. That trip was to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to gave us a beautiful king size room with ocean view. We ended up staying for one extra day. Everything was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you
