Paid a lot of money for an upgraded room, for two nights , after 2 hours AC wouldn’t get room under 75 degrees, set at lowest temp of 64, maintenance said it was a big room and would take awhile , I gave breathing issues so bad enough room was dirty but needed AC to work , moved all our stuff to another room set AC to 64 (lowest temp) didn’t get below 72. Entire hotel was hot dirty and smelled of urine . Not many dining options and definitely not safe as you have to walk off the board walk to get to and from hotel.

Pool area was disgusting. Had literal tufts of hair out side the pool no towels at the pool (and we got there when it opened) so it should have been cleaned. Very dirty hotel. Room was nice and clean. Hot tub was good. Only good thing about this hotel is the room we had. Hallways smellled like the smoke was in the walls and carpets. Elevators literally took 6 minutes to come each time. Another couple told us they held the elevator doors just so it could go down to the floor they wanted because the elevator kept saying it was going up when it was supposed to be going down. Point it.. it was a total mess of a hotel that was once great probably 30 years ago but it FAR behind most other hotels in that area. Everything smelt old and dank and dirty and thank god we only stayed a couple nights... couldn't do more than that. My wife said she would give the hotel a 2 out of five only because the room was decent. DO NOT believe the pictures online. The whole pool area was disgusting. We stayed 10 minutes and left due to it being so dirty.

They need to fix all the elevators. Some were inoperable. The first night we were there a group of people were talking about being stuck for 30 minutes on one and didn’t want us to get on with them. Also the staff needs to give better directions to parking. We ended up in a different parking lot.
