Overall the hotel is fine for a quick cheap break but if you are staying longer than a few days then you may want to look around. Hotel is dated and very basic. The rooms are tired and in great need for an upgrade. I stayed in room 212 and I would not recommend it. The bathroom is extremely small with a very narrow bath with a shower over and a small glass screen separating it from the toilet. I took a shower on my 1st morning and when I tried to turn around I touched the glass screen and it swung open far to easily causing me to tumble out of the bath and smashing my head on the solid tiled wall. Thankfully my head missed the toilet or it would have been much worse. I twisted my ankle and bruised both knees and my right shoulder. I had a massive bump on the side of my head the size of an egg. I never said anything to the hotel as I was very embarrassed. On returning to the UK a few days later the pain in my head was getting worse so I went to the Hospital and after scans and x-rays it turns out I have 2 hairline fractures of my skull. I have been home for 11 days now and still can not go back to my job driving vehicles due to the fracture. Again this hotel is ok for very short cheap stays but if it's your main vacation please treat yourselves to something better than a small basic room with a shower over the bath.

The staff were professional and friendly however a lot of outside noise came into there room. There is a bar with live music on the first floor which I could hear in my room. It went until around 11pm most nights. But maybe it was just my room, I am not sure. Perhaps if the floors outside the room were carpet instead of tiles this would soak up the noise instead of amplify it?

Staff was not friendly. Room was dirty we needed a cab was told to stand outside and wave one down. It was raining elevator only went up so far then you have climb stairs. I don’t do stairs well. Plus very noisy. We would stay here again if was free. Telling all our friends. Don’t stay here.

Electrical outlets are loose, bathroom sink need to be replaced noisy, poor all round room fit& finish..desk staff does not smile, staff smoke in front of main door. We were not allowed to stay in dining room for minor computer work when no one was around 2-3:30pm, safe was not working batteries had to be replaced, safe hinge was loose. Random piece of loose carpet near dining room make it hard to roll luggage.. I see other guests with the same experience trying to roll over the carpet. Not worth the price paid for the room...

The room is not the room that appears in the photo that you has i. Hotel. Com. It’s not a place good to be there. The beds are so bad , i can not rest in them. The air condition do not works efficiently. The room in bad conditions to be in there. I think that you clear this hotel from your stock. Poor poor poor hotel.

Stayed yrs ago was much better. Great location, good price. Las Rambla under major construction. The area is very noisy especially after dark and throughout the night. People in alley behind yelling either at someone or themselves. Was disappointed to be told we rented economy room. Would not recommend or stay there again.

This hotel itself is ok and a bit old, but it comes with great location! It is located in La Rambla street with everything close by, very convenient. Also it is about 10 minutes walking to Gothic area, fantastic.

There is a restaurant in the 1st floor, it does not belong to the hotel. They have music blasting until 1am, and the hotel cannot do anything about nor do they tell about this issue. If I have known about the music I would have never stay in this hotel. Stay away if you want a good night sleep. Good luck if you make the mistake on staying in this hotel
