First room we had wasn’t cleaned properly, broken light, and was missing amenities. In bringing this to the attention of reception, they provided an upgraded room, and a free beverage for the lounge. Food was OK.

Location of the Leonardo Hotel was excellent, a close walk to shopping and many restaurants. Staff member Alex went above and beyond for us, helping us with arrangements for a Black Cab tour and calling the owner of the Hop On Hop Off bus company when we were having a problem catching the bus.

We loved our stay at Leonardo, will likely never stay anywhere else in Belfast. Pros: Location was not just good, it was perfect, walking distance to main transit hub at city hall, train and bus station. Biggest room we had in Europe. Good price. Reservation said it was a double bed, but I believe it was a queen and quite comfortable. Bathroom was a good size. Shower was good. Bath products offered were good. Breakfast was one of the best hotel ones I have seen (quality and number of options). Blackout curtains were very dark. The only con was the room was quite warm and we could only open the window a crack.

Staff at check in (had really cool glasses) was amazing, compared to the other Leonardo’s the breakfast wasn’t as good, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Great location, close to all the shops and restaurants.
