Step into calm and comfort at Shag Bark 21 — where cozy meets modern and your getaway begins the moment you walk in. In 2025, the home received thoughtful upgrades: a brand new leather couch, updated TVs, lighting, mattresses, bedding, and kitchen appliances. Every bedroom is now equipped with convenient USB charging ports.

This welcoming home is perfect for relaxing with family or friends. Sip coffee on the deck in the morning sun or unwind with a cold drink in hand after a day of outdoor fun. The peaceful surroundings and two porches make it easy to just sit for a while.

Upstairs, the open reverse floor plan includes a bright living space with vaulted cedar ceilings, comfy seating, Smart TV, and a gorgeous stone fireplace. Step outside through the sliding glass doors to take in the quiet, wooded setting.

The open-concept kitchen and dining area are perfect for shared meals, with a fully stocked kitchen, spices, coffee station, and plenty of seating.

The primary bedroom is upstairs with a king bed, TV, en suite bath, and large walk-in shower. This bathroom is also accessible from the hallway. Downstairs, you’ll find three more bedrooms: a second king, a queen, and a kid-friendly pyramid bunk room. A shared full bath with tub/shower combo is also on this level.

With a private hot tub, full-size washer/dryer, and quiet North End location near BLM access trails and SHARC, this home is everything you need to unplug, reconnect, and recharge.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available for guest use in the home.

This home welcomes dogs, 2 max, no other pets are allowed. Fees apply.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: Guests must be 23 years or older to rent Bennington homes and the person reserving must occupy the home the whole reservation.

Nice spot in sunriver, close to everything

This was a great property for our trip! Lots of open space with both a front and back deck. The hot tub was private (even though it was in the front of the house). The bike path was right next to the house and being able to use the bikes in the garage was a great adventure. The company managing the property, Bennington, is super repsonsive and thoughtful, even leaving us a little meaningful surprise in the house when we arrived. The only comment for this property is to make sure you bring your own shampoo and conditioner, it was not stocked in the house when we were there. Maybe an oversight for our stay. The store was walkable distance so we were able to pick some up.

Beware of Broken Appliances

We were notified right before check in that the refrigerator did not work and the stove top did not work. They failed to mention that the oven also did not work. Vacation homes that have so many broken appliances should not be rented. The accommodation offered was a refrigerator down a flight of stairs and in the garage. Needless to say that was terribly inconvenient. It's also difficult to cook for a family of 7 with a countertop, small portable cooking unit. We joked that we were camping, only for really high prices. We were highly frustrated and disappointed that the property manager allowed this level of disrepair for a vacation home rental.
