Fully equipped studio with kitchen and laundry utilities. Everything in perfect condition. Modern and cosy studio. Close to airport shuttle (1 stop, 20 minutes). Located 100 meters from Zubizurri bridge. Guggenheim and Casco Viejo right around the corner. Quiet stay and friendly staff. We spent four nights here and felt at home.

The nicest thing about Abba Suites were the helpful women who worked at the front desk. A shout out to them. The location in Balbao is perfect - very central and walkable. The apartments are well equipped and set up. There are, however, issues. Soundproofing is not good and you may need a white noise machine as we had. The beds are described in Expedia as "memory foam." They are not and this was a problem since they are very, very firm. I ended up sleeping on a collection of pillows. As well, Expedia asked for $25 per day extra for housekeeping. Don't pay it. I didn't and found that the hotel empties trash and changes towels (if desired) every day. Sheets are changed and some cleaning is done every 4th day. Why is the Expedia website incorrect? And why doesn't Abba Hotels correct it? This is something that makes me wonder about future bookings with Expedia, and I have used them for years. And overall average experience that could have been better.
