This warm and cozy apartment offers an excellent pied-à-terre right in the heart of Bordeaux, in a lively and bustling, yet quiet neighborhood! Completely renovated a few months ago, this tastefully decorated apartment in a beautiful, typically Bordeaux building will win you over with its privileged location in the city!
Located on the first floor, it's fully equipped for your comfort (wifi, essentials, Nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer, TV, iron, fan). Equipped with a double bed (140 cm), ideal for 2 people! The apartment has no parking.
DEPOSIT
A bank imprint of €250 will be requested as part of the rental. In the form of a payment link and managed by the secure online service Stripe, it is compulsory and must be made before arrival in the accommodation. The amount is not blocked or debited and does not affect the maximum amount you can use your credit card. Within 2 days of your departure, and subject to compliance with the general terms and conditions of sale, as well as the return of the property in perfect condition, this operation is automatically cancelled.

GETTING AROUND
From Mérignac airport: Take tram A or bus 1 from the Mérignac Aéroport stop to the Gambetta Mériadeck stop, then take tram B from the Gambetta stop to the La Cité du Vin stop and walk 5 min.
From Gare Saint Jean: Take tram C or D from Gare Saint Jean to Quinconces, then tram B from Quinconces to La Cité du Vin and walk 5 min.
Street parking is free only from 7 pm to 9 am and on Sundays and public holidays. Half-day parking costs €15.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The ideal setting for a short stay or a long weekend. The beautiful buildings are an excellent indication of the new Bordeaux. The land once belonged to a former Carthusian monastery (Chartreux in French, which leads to the current name, Les Chartrons), drained by the Dutch in the 17th century. Cours Xavier Arnozan (formerly Pavé des Chartrons) is one of the city's most aristocratic and elegant streets. It was always a sign of social status to live on the "Pavé" in the last century.

Great location, not so great help
The best thing about the apartment was the location being right by the train station, and we got the room on the first floor. However, the trash was full and extremely smelly when we arrived there were no trash bags for us to place in the trashcan and we ran out of toilet paper. The check out instructions, state cleaning expectations yet there was nothing in the apartment to clean with. Communicating with the with the property manager was extremely difficult, because he did not speak English.
