Shortly after check in we checked out. Upon arrival, a man was smoking behind the bushes immediately outside the lobby, the area smelled like pot and a homeless person was occupying the bench complete with their belongings and yelling loudly. The hallways were dirty and stained. Our room carpet was also dirty and the bottom of the bathtub had the worst wear we have ever seen which made it visibly dirty, stained, unsanitary and not okay. We contacted hotels.com regarding our reservation right away. The agent called the hotel and was told no manager was available until the following morning and to not worry they would request the refund. We checked out and rebooked at a hotel down the road - assembly row by Marriott. There is no chance this hotel represents the La Quinta brand. While clearly on the budget end of hotels in this area, the expectation to any guest is for cleanliness, maintenance and safety. This morning hotels.com had a difficult time reaching a manager and then was told no refund would be offered. This is not ok - we did not stay, our rooms were not in acceptable condition nor was the outside lobby area secure. We understand only La Quinta is able to make a refund based on our reservation type. Please do the right thing, refund our stay and conduct a review of this hotel’s condition. It’s a disgrace for the brand.

Airport shuttle runs too infrequently to be helpful. Rooms were dirty. Front desk staff were great and kind, but it was the kind of place you don’t want to walk barefoot in.

Property was just a little tired, couch was dirty. Bed was not particularly comfortable. we left too early to try out the breakfast, but it was quiet. . The price was right, so I really can’t complain.. shuttle service to the airport was free.. and the shuttle driver was very friendly.

I checked in on the same day that I checked out because the facilities were so worn down and not clean. My carpet had black stains on it which looked like spots of blood. My bathroom tub was dirty. The bed was clean and the sheets were crisp and clean, but all the other furniture looked extremely worn and weirdly placed around the room. The gym didn't refill their water dispenser. Despite being a convenient walk to Assembly Row, the area around the hotel itself was sketchy that I immediately checked out. The staff were very helpful and nice but everything else was not up to par for me.

Do not stay here. It is wildly overpriced while claiming to be the “cheapest in the city” and was profoundly dirty. Considering that this room was close to $400/night, the uncleanliness is baffling. Our room had a massive bleach stain at the front with a hairball sitting beside it, and the rest of the room had crumbs lining the walls. The bathtub had a large crack underneath that felt like it may cave in while showering. Secondly, the airport shuttle was 1.5 hours late past the arrival time they gave us, despite being 15 minutes away. When we asked the front desk about this, they lied and tried to blame us, saying that we called one hour later than we really did. They didn’t have much to say once my husband showed them his call records. As if all these factors were not enough, a deep dive into the reviews included bed bugs. Safe to say, we were out of there early the next morning.

Super convenient stay for everyone

The coffee in the lobby doesn't stay hot. And the breakfast coffee ran out, but the staff was quick to replace it all. The bed was super comfortable, but the pillows could be replaced. Super close to subway! We went to Salem for a few days and was able to walk to subway to get into boston with no problems. Even the area was great.
