Cozy hotel in the middle of town

I stay at the 1868 Hotel regularly for work. The staff are always friendly, caring, and supportive. Very convenient to stores, restaurants, and the T. I highly recommend this hotel!

Loved this place!

Loved the hotel! Very modern look and although the room was a bit small, it was very comfortable. Not a lot of traffic noise outside. Walkable shops nearby.

Nice little boutique hotel with great staff

Hotel was very nice. Walking distance to many restaurants, and stores. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any of our needs. My only complaint was that the shower stall is small and you have to reach across under a rainhead shower to turn it on, so you get a cold blast with each shower. Coffee makers in room, ice and purified water in basement. Cab ride to airport was about $ 50. Right across the street from a subway station. I would go back again!

Hotel 1868 is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Boston area. The staff is wonderful, facilities are clean and updated and it is generally very affordable. I’ve stayed at other properties in the area but return happily to Hotel 1868 as they are just a cut above.

It was near Harvard and I could walk to my nephew's apartment and his performances on campus. There was a good coffee shop next door and the T station was across the street with a super nice agent in the Porter station. I got some kind of food poisoning so was pretty ill on my last day. They arranged for late check-out for a nominal fee, which I desperately needed and for which I was very grateful. My daughter got to spend time with her cousin and I was able to rest.
