From the moment we arrived, our experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim Buena Park was exceptional. The hotel exudes a welcoming and modern atmosphere. The lobby was inviting, and check-in was a breeze thanks to Christine at the front desk. All staff at the front desk were also genuinely helpful, providing us with all the information we needed and making us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The bed was heavenly, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the Anaheim area. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including a mini-fridge and a well-lit workspace. The bathroom was also spotless and well-stocked with toiletries. The hotel's amenities truly enhanced our stay. The outdoor pool was a fantastic place to unwind and relax. The fitness center was well-equipped, great to maintain a workout routine while traveling. We also enjoyed the convenience of the on-site Bistro, which offered breakfast and dinner options, as well as Starbucks coffee – a definite plus! What truly set this Courtyard apart was the outstanding service. The noise disruptions for guests out late and slamming doors were frequent and late in the night. It is not clear whether the pool within the courtyard has a cut off time. Certainly there were enough that I know at least some other guests on that side of the hotel would have had same disturbing experience.

The Marriott brand for me has/is always consistent, this Courtyard is too. Upon arrival the drive up area, as all courtyards, at the front of the property. The lobby area is very inviting. Check in was easy (as usual at Courtyards). Only one minor “hiccup” the room we had assigned to us, was occupied.

Pretty ok room, great location.

The location is amazing! It's a 10 minute walk to Knott's Berry farm. Other than that, it's a very plain hotel. The walls are paper thin, and the building is a bit older. It was plenty clean and comfortable, but it's a lower end place. Good enough though.

Check-in time was supposed to be 3 pm. I requested an early check in and never got a response. We showed up at 3:30 (past check-in time) and I was told there were no suites available because “people in suites like to have a late check-out’. I’m not sure why that should affect my check-in time. I was then told that at this location, check in was between 3-4 (that’s not what it said in the website when I booked). They called house keeping to see if any rooms were ready and got us checked into a room by 3:52. I found a little lock on the bedroom floor which made me think the cleaning had to be rushed to get us into a room. I’m normally not one to complain, but this was a very frustrating experience.

WORST EXPERIENCE!! Check in at Thursday afternoon was great, greeted with friendly and helpful staff. Come the next day.. our friends and I had a few rooms booked and when walking through the walkways on Friday morning we were overwhelmed with the scent of cat pee and sewer!!! When we informed the front desk of the horrible conditions we were informed this is “just the normal that happens” Instead of sympathy, empathy or even trying to make it right we were brushed off with having to deal with it. So if you want to stay in your hotel… DO NOT BOOK HERE. I you love cats, the smell of sewer and lack of empathy this place is for you!!! Housekeeping staff was friendly but manager needs to check the rooms. Dirty towel and no conditioner in the shower (just an empty bottle). To top it off if you need sleep.. DO NOT STAY HERE. doors slamming and people yelling all hours of the night with no one to secure the halls or contain rude situations with neighbors. Only plus is walking distance to medieval times!!!
