But hotel fridge freezer is not cold, ice cream cones melted (soft & runny). TV remote not working well, n switches off intermittently or switches to Shangri la hotel advertising. Great location, the Shangri-La is right next to the pier where the Great Barrier Reef tours depart. Our room was large with a great view of the harbor and Esplanade. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. Complete amenities.
