The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was good. But the hallways were dirty and the parking was not great for larger vehivled.

The staff were very lovely and work hard, trying to provide quality customer service for a failing hotel. The place is clearly past its due date. Stay elsewhere.

Almost perfect stay - great room, view, attitude, very decent breakfast. A couple of small glitches. Learned they were short staffed. But Nikki was great and doing her best. Room was not ready at check in time - we were not in a hurry. I went immediately to use the washroom and the toilet overflowed. It was taking time to get the repair person in, so we went out to eat. Returned to find toilet fixed Yay! But toilet not cleaned and bathmat which I used to stop the toilet water from running into the bedroom carpet was still where I left it, soaking wet. Still we would absolutely like to stay again.

Our room was fine , outdated but clean, comfortable bed. What turned us off was the hall and stairways. They were filthy on check in and worse on checkout. I suspect they had not been vacuumed in weeks. We have stayed here more than once, the halls and stairs were in the same state last time as well. For that reason we will be staying elsewhere in the future.

Lots of room and homey feel. Street is busy, walkable on the waterfront but busy road to go along. Room is quiet and comfortable, parking indoors.

After many stays here this was the first we were disappointed. Staff eating in breakfast area. A 4 night stay did not receive one room clean. Trying to reach the hotel to update reservations was impossible so ended up using Expedia which cost us more money. Not sure we will return. Beds are comfy and staff are very pleasant.

We had a lovely view of the ocean. There was no room service because you had to ask for it. And we didn't know that, and they only have one poor girl working her tail off.

Not a modern hotel but wonderfully spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable suites with a relaxed feel. Add to this the friendly and kind staff and this somewhat tired hotel is an excellent place to base yourself when visiting Campbell River. And boy what a wonderful view right across from the Discovery Passage - bring your binoculars!

Very outdated and run down. Needs lots of work. Could hear the people talking next door. Carpets are extremely dirty in the hallways. Dirty seat cushioning in the breakfast room. There was no shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. The staff were really nice. We were able to check in at 1:30 am.
