I was a little nervous given some of the reviews, but it was great! Food and service were excellent. The entertainment staff did a great job getting people involved in daily activities on the beach and at the pool - it was a great vacation!

The staff at check in tell you the room is not ready but if you upgrade at a cost of $75.00 you can get a better room right away. It was actually $75.00 a night and was not ready any early then attempted to sell a time share. When trying to just get into our booked room and not upgrade, they already charge our card and the manager refused to speak to us. This happened to several people during our stay.

I stayed at the Beach Palace for 7 days and 6 nights with my wife and 2 teenagers. I didnā€™t know when we booked this property that it is a timeshare property, so theyā€™ll try to get you in a 90 minute presentation right off the bat. The property was clean, staff were friendly and the location is great. The hotel is on the smaller side but I liked that because the kids were able to walk back and forth to the restaurants, room etc without us worrying theyā€™d get lost. The beach is great at this location. The food is good but nothing great. The smokehouse restaurant was the best in my opinion. I read people complaining about the doors slamming and the doors were loud but nothing that kept us up at night. Every night they had entertainment, which was fun. There was a fire show and the Michael Jackson show was great. I would recommend this hotel to families with teens because they canā€™t venture off too far. The hotel also has a coffee/dessert shop open all day, which the kids liked.

As usual the service at Palace is unparalleled. The animation team at the pool was amazing. Yesenia, Roxanna and Vania in the playroom were wonderful to our children in the playroom. Misael and all of the bardtenders by the pool were incredible. Every employee we encountered was beyond fantastic. Our family had the best time.

It was great experience with staff and overall facility felt safe. While room service was available, reservations for dining options were hardly available during our stay. So felt like we are stuck with only 2 options that have dining and are walk-in. Surprisingly no real mexican food options even in room service, seemed too american.

I haven't gotten any good sleep at all. The mattress was all extremely soft and my back was aching the whole time. I told the staff this and the staff told me to talk to their PR department... I even asked whether they could provide some beach chair coushions as they would be better than sleeping on the bed, and they didn't make any efforts to correct the situation for me. Out of 20 years of staying at various hotels, the bed at this hotel was the worst...

First time ever going to Cancun and staying at this hotel. We went to celebrate my daughterā€™s 16th birthday and upgraded our room. I was not expecting the room they gave us! We had 700 points earned due to vip pass, but were restricted to not use all in spa, none of the excursions accepted points, barely anything is possible in gift shop. So whatā€™s the use of points? We had wasted 400 points unused. Not at all helpful!

This property was the worse property we vacationed. Building is very worn down. Jacuzzi had yellow water coming out and was dirty. Toilet was broken and had to call to get it fixed.. When guests close their doors you can hear loud banging sound all the time. Shampoo and conditioner dispensers also broken so they gave us those mini ones to use. You can not book dinner because it's always fully booked in the system although the restaurant is empty but workers are not even trained to accomadate you. Restaurants says close at 11om but not even 1030pm and they alreqdy tell you they are close. Room service was very bad. Every time we ask somethig it would take hours if it will even arrive because a couple times it never came. I never had a more disapponting vacation stay than this. I caution anybody considerong on staying here.

Wait staff were amazing. The beach at this resort is the best! Food was decent for all inclusive. The steak house was amazing! Front desk was not very helpful when we wanted to add an additional day but we got through it.

Beach Palace needs some updating(plumbing taps etc) and more facilities for the younger aged. The sports bar with the pool tables and dart games was very small in size and at 10 pm. was closed off to adults so the older teens had nothing to do.Front lobby entry had very limited space to sit ; thru out the whole resort there wasn't a family friendly area to sit( other than restaurants to eat) and play board games/cards.The beach area was smaller than what I am used to and with a large family , very hard to get loungers. The beach volleyball area took up a lot of loungers and right in the middle of the small beach area..frustrating when the volleyball smacks the loungers and sunbathers. The plus was that the staff are all helpful happy people and very patient with younger kids in the restaurants.
