The hotel was great. The staff was great. The beach there at the hotel was atrocious. It was full of seaweed and smelled like rotten eggs. We didn’t even get to enjoy the beach on our trip at all we didn’t go in The restaurants at the facility are also not very good food, but that seem to be typical of the region. Also, this hotel shuts down at about 6 PM so if you’re in your 30s and looking to have any kind of fun at your resort, this wouldn’t be it for you. You can’t even go sit at the pool bar past 6 PM. But again, the staff was great, and the facility was beautiful, if I was rebooking, I would go somewhere else with some nightlife and a clean beach and some good food.

Food was very good, bed was comfortable with excellent views of the ocean. Only problem was the amount of construction in the hotel that we were not aware of at the time of booking. Glad our room was far from it but we could still here the drilling all day.

Our experience at the JW Marriott Cancun was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. We also enjoyed the amazing dining options on-site—each restaurant offered delicious food, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve ever had. Beautiful overall, but the beach on the resort's property was full of dense kelp that made the water practically impossible to enjoy. Playa Tortuga is a short bus ride away and was lovely. The only food we ate in the resort was from their convenience store. Options were limited but decent. Restaurants across the street are pricey and mid. And the cusines inside the resort are limited.

Everything was great from the moment we arrived until our departure. Everyone at the hotel was very professional and with outstanding customer service. The restaurants, bar and pool were amazing. My son and wife loved it. We will definitely stay here on our next trip back.

The area was super clean, and as always, JW Marriott lives up to an outstanding service reputation. The bathrooms have updated designs and are very clean. However, when anyone uses the toilet, the sound is a loud echo. This is very embarrassing. The staff is extremely accommodating. The rooms are spacious, safe, clean, a nice selection of restaurants

The service at the hotel was excellent! This would be a nice hotel for a quick 3 night stay with your spouse. However, it is not suitable for children at all. The restaurants are too fancy. Hard to find a decent casual meal on property or even within walking distance of the property. The beach was awful. No kids activities or music on property. Very quiet hotel. Rooms do not accommodate a family well. Double beds are tiny, but they did bring a rollaway free of charge. We visited in July and the construction was a nuisance the entire trip.
