The property is beautiful. The service was very good most of the time. When the service wasn't good, it was bad. We were greeted by being told we owed $1190 because our children were listed as 12 instead of 14. Their passport loaded in the Expedia site clearly said 14. Could it have been a mistake by me, sure, but it was 45 minutes of them not budging. Then we went to the room & were told we were not all inclusive. That was a mistake, because we were. They quickly remedied that mistake and chalked it up to miscommunication. We went to the spa which was wonderful. However, our original appointment time wasn't kept because they had someone call in sick. There was no accommodation for the inconvenience. The food and drinks were excellent. Top notch for all inclusive. The hotel & room were amazing. We had a two bedroom ocean front suite. It was huge and fully stocked. I loved having a washing machine and dryer in there. The bathrooms were also top notch....there were three. I'd go back, bc it was an overall great experience, but the hiccups were big ones. Expedia could never prove to me I booked my children as 12 year olds. They gave me $500 of $1190 back.It would have been much nicer if the hotel had just compromised or explained the kids wouldn't be able to eat off an adult menu. I still find that part shady. Also, my sixteen year old could go to the rooftop, but wasn't allowed to eat there! The place was really nice overall, but they need a hospitality course to wow people.

Great, beautiful property. However located in isolated spot - beach is not the best and not a lot to do on the property - eat, swim, and sleep. Again, property is awesome, restaurants have delicious food and service. We also got an upgrade for our room - exellent room and spectacular view.

Just returned from a 6 day stay. The property was beautiful and so clean. The food was probably one of the best we have had for an all inclusive trip. Every restaurant was incredible as far as quality was concerned. Even the food we ordered at the pool and room service. We did not encounter any problems from other bad reviews. Check in and check out were very easy and fast with no wait. Not one staff member we encountered was rude. Everyone was inviting and so nice. My guess as to the recent negative reviews came during the highest peak of travel during spring break. You have to take these issues into consideration when traveling during these times. I can only imagine the chaos it must create. I would never travel to these destinations during that time and not expect to run into some issues. We loved every aspect of the resort. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was perfect for a family of 4. Everyone at the pool was extremely nice and accommodating. Never had to wait more than a few minutes for chairs, towels, food or drinks. A lot of reviews complained about the rocky beach which was true. The ocean floor directly in front of the resort is rocky but if you just walk a few hundred feet to the resort right next door it is beautiful sand all the way out to the ocean. My daughter and I were there everyday. Don’t listen to any of these negative reviews. Don’t expect a picture perfect vacation during the peak of spring break. Spend a little effort exploring the beach.

Very beautiful resort. Loved the decor and our room. We booked the 1 bedroom Oceanview suite. Very easy to get around. Food was great. Wish the kids club had more things to do for ages 10 and up and more night shows. Overall we still had great family vacation.

Garza Blanca is a beautiful hotel that’s not too big but perfect in size. Great pools but Beach has a huge rock formation, All along the length of the beach. So bring water shoes!! Water not as clear as the Hotel Zone in Cancùn. Food was great , didn’t feel like a typical all inclusive at all. There was no request that was too big , staff was so accommodating and gracious. My only request is that the hotel make a better effort towards a teens room — games, more pool tables etc. A place they can hang out after dinner etc. Other than that hotel area is quiet and a great hotel if your looking for a bit of a higher end resort.

The checkin process here was absolutely terrible. We arrived in the morning and waited in line a very long time. Our room was not ready which we understand so we were told to return at 3. We returned then and waited a long time again only to be told the room needed inspected and to wait longer. It was ridiculous. Why not just text when the room is ready instead of wasting our time. Terrible process!!!

We truly had a grear time at Garza Blanca Cancun! We loved loved loved all the dining options and everything tastes *chef's kiss*! Will go back next year!
