Very dirty room, walls had stains all over. Bathroom was very dirty, did not want to take a shower and be barefoot. Common pool area with tables was not cleaned neither and the empolyees were sitting and eating their own food and chatting on the tables and we sat on a table that had someone elses food from the day before still left on the table. Reception did not speak any english but they were polite.

Room and hotel was decent. Staff was also nice. But their Hotel Cafeteria timing was from 6 Am to 2 PM but almost all of days cafeteria was closed at 9 AM or they never opened it. And there is a metallic band bar next door who play loud music until 2-3 AM which was pretty loud and disturbing.

The lady at the front desk was polite. I put my stuff down in the room ran to the grocery store and when I got back and had a chance to try and turn on the hot water and get things situated I was like what is that smell, the ac was not on, it was musty and it was pretty rough. It was like similar to a super 8 in the hood in the US. I went to the front desk and said I can’t stay here.. I left. Hotels.com says since they couldn’t reach the hotel to confirm I left. I had to pay for my entire stay.

We loved Our stay at Grand city hotel. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. It's a bar a few buildings down where you can sit outside and listen to some nice rock music. The whole vibe was good, they kept the property very clean, every day they were cleaning. We will be back and will stay with Grand City hotel again and again!!!
