The kiddie pool was closed for the first 3 days we fot there was not much entertainment or life , i also got sick and was throwing up , the water in the pools was cold we happen to be there when a cold front came and they did not heat the pools and actually closed the Jacuzzi later on

The food options are very limited. They close every restaurant from 5-6pm, with only the cafe open and the line is super long (understandable because nothing else is open)… the front desk for Hilton honors was very very slow. It took us an hour to get fully checked in. The kiddie pool was kept very cold, significantly colder than the adult pool so my kids couldn’t make us of it. The wait staff in the vela buffet was terrible, they would literally just ignore us when trying to ask for a glass of water or coffee. Not sure why this place got such good reviews, they tell everyone to leave them a review.. there are much better hotels to stay at. Don’t recommend

Room, staff, amenities, and everything the hotel provided was perfect. Our experience felt like Disney World. There were kids all over the place screaming, crying, running around, and the parents simply did not care. We were there for 5 days and never ate breakfast, lunch, or dinner without hearing kids screaming, running around unattended, or babies crying. Now I understand the "adults only" resorts. It was ridiculous.

Staff and service was next level! Alex Novoa was out at the pool area daily and went above and beyond to make our 4 day vacation incredible. The food was really good especially the Italian restaurant. Rooms were in great shape and everyone was very accommodating.

The room was nice, balcony was peaceful, grounds were clean, wait staff at the lobby bar was great. There is not a lot of privacy in the in-room bathrooms having transparent glass walls. Make reservations for all your dinners as soon as you get there. The steakhouse books quickly. Avoid the Italian restaurant, not worth the time. The Asian and taco place were great. We had issues with our driver being allowed onto the property to pick us up. The hotel worker-in reservation area, was extremely rude about this. This was not normal for a Hilton. The beach area was cleaned every morning. There were ample chairs on the beach and surrounding the pools. We would definitely go back.
