There seemed to be limited amenities and limited à la carte options. It was very difficult to book the à la cartes as everything was always booked up but the restaurants did not look fully booked. The resort kept running out of beer or wouldn’t serve until 11am and cut off was 11pm which was unrealistic.

FOOD was a 3 out of 10. If you care at all about food don’t stay here. My husband got food poisoning from the buffet omelet and so missed a whole da at the beach. Buffet isn’t open certain days so you are left to the snack bar by the pool which is worse than Golden Corral. The hot food is gross, we only ate fruit, salads and bread. Drinks would make it to us when we were done eating. The outdoor pizzeria is decent but only open on certain days. Some days there was no coffee at the lounge/coffee bar area. BAR, only 1 bar and the line is usually long to wait for a drink. The blended drinks are the worst we have had. ATMOSPHERE was all about the pool party. So if you like to party at the pool then this is for you. They do a lot of activities for guests at pool area. BEACH was a 9/10. Clean, beautiful shallow area for swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling. There are some large boulders at some of the shore line to break waves so you can’t swim there obviously. We stayed on the beach all day everyday. No waiters serve the beach area. No umbrellas or shade at beach just FYI. You have to grab and carry your chairs out to the beach. ROOM was very clean, we were on floor 1 facing the road/dock. Bathroom was nice, beds are good. We had a jacuzzi tub on our balcony which was nice. There is no conditioner in the shower supplies, only shampoo and soap. One night we awoke to hammering at 12:30am. We will not stay here again and DO NOT recommend.

We stayed for 10 nights at GR Solaris Caribe celebrating our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The newly renovated hotel has a lovely Greek-Mediterranean vibe—designers did an excellent job. The service was exceptional, staff is very kind, and the food was excellent. Thank you for the special honeymoon treat—it meant a lot. Carlos at the deli and Andrew, the yoga instructor, were outstanding, and housekeeping was impeccable everyday. Special kudos to the chef at Bogavante for an outstanding menu and dinner. Breakfast also offered a great variety of options and place was very lovely. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

Overall, the room was nice, the pool and the amenities no complaints there. The food was not the best, even though I don’t expect high-quality at an all-inclusive resort. It was a little bit subpar. In my opinion. Staff was really friendly.

The room was very clean food was good but seems that is the same food every day and gets tiring eating the same everyday. What I really didn’t like is that they pretty much force you to get a time share and I was told that the deposit that I gave for à lunch was refundable but they didn’t give it back to me. In Marco Polo Ricky was fantastic he is the best!

Wifi is very slow. The reservation restaurant can’t access to the website. We stayed 4 nights but only can book our last night reservations at 9pm (only that available time on their app). We went to the reception asked to helping for another the reservation restaurant and told her the reason why we can’t book. The lady on the reception said the price all inclusive we paid for ONLY ROOM and BUFFET (I still have the proof what she said). I am wondering what mean “ALL INCLUSIVE”. After met the manager Maria, she said the policy resort “ALl INCLUSIVE” included for room, buffet and 1 compliment restaurant. Even though she helped us to book another reservations, honestly I am very disappointed and not happy at all. We traveled 5-8 times to Cancun every year and stayed a lot of different resorts in Cancun but only this resort got that issue.

The food was nasty, the tv speaker did not worked for the entire 6 days we were there, the resort runs a membership scam forcing you to participate in a 90mins long presentation then demanding you sign up and pay 10,000 usd and then had an attitude when we refused. The hotel is run down with little to no maintenance, the hot & cold water does not function properly and the staff pretends to not know English when you make any complaint. Don’t waste your money booking here the food is so nasty it made me sick and I had to buy food for my entire trip.
