The service is great. Vantage club suite is amazing. The food is horrible every restaurant every buffet the food was bad. The entertainment was not good either by 939pm everyone sleep and by 9am everyone is at the pool fighting for chairs. Even if you want to relax and just take it easy this still isn’t the place for you. Two beers and three sodas in a mini bar is not ok. Room service food was not good either. Also the hotel is beautiful but it was built in the swamp area. PACK BUG SPRAY. Leaving the balcony open the 4th floor was not a good idea to enjoy the breeze I left with over 19 yes 19 bug bites on me

The hotel does a very good job in lining up activities for its guests. The pool guys are attentive and they make sure to check on guests regularly. They cleaning staff is good as well. The only bad experience that we had was when we were checking in and interacting with the front desk staff. They are the worse part of the experience. They were not welcoming nor friendly. They made use wait and they did not even check on us to tell us our room was ready we had to go there and get their attention. Checking out was a breeze but boy the front desk at dawn was just grumpy. I mean I know its 5 in the morning but sometimes you want to leave with a pleasant note.

I’ll preface this review by saying that our main trip goal was to relax and recharge. This was our 11th visit to Cancun and we have stayed at various resorts or hotels. Positives: The facility is well maintained and the beach club is truly top notch. The food is good for an all inclusive resort (the Japanese restaurant was great). We purchased the vantage club and it was worth it, as you get access to the rooftop pool and it is much calmer and relaxing than the first floor pools, which are more of a party/spring break scene. They have a great coffee stand that is always accessible. Negatives: Our sheets were dirty when we arrived. The walls are paper thin. We were placed on the first floor (which is actually the third floor, but first floor of guest rooms) with a bay view. When checking in, we asked if we could be assigned another room due to expected noise from the pool but the front desk agent noted that the hotel was full (we booked somewhat last minute via Expedia and clearly misunderstood options). While the pool noise from guests was not a problem for us, we were woken several mornings (around 2am) from drilling, vacuums, plates clanking, and other routine maintenance activities by the hotel. We called the front desk each time and they acted annoyed from the call and the noise continued. There is no spa but they offer massages and other basic treatments. The gym is a simple fitness facility, not comparable to those at other resorts in the area.

We upgraded to the vantage club when booking, rooftop pool was extremely cold during the duration of our stay. Did the vantage club breakfast on the rooftop and waited for over an hour for our food, when it arrived, it was cold. It was quite pricey to upgrade to vantage club and the resort did not make it feel like it was worth the money. The New Year’s Eve dinner was terrible and our server rushed us out of the restaurant. The resort confirmed to add the birthday package to our stay for my wife’s 40th birthday and upon arrival, there was nothing done to help us celebrate despite confirming with them in advance of us arriving. Service was generally ok however, when asking for beverages that were non alcoholic, or even for simple items like condiments, certain staff made it feel burdensome. Some staff even asked for tips outright like it was expected even if the service wasn’t good. Overall, if you’re looking for a higher end stay, go to secrets. They actually make you feel like you are getting value for your money, unlike this Hyatt resort. Very disappointed with this resort given the money we paid for it.

The view is amazing and the pools are wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful — thank you so much for organizing such a wide range of activities. The margarita class and float yoga were my favourites and definitely highlights of the stay. The food is excellent as well; I highly recommend the Italian restaurant, Aglio. It would be great if the pool water could be a bit warmer, and the rooms are not very soundproof. We could clearly hear people walking, talking loudly, and noise from the next room around midnight. Overall, a great stay with beautiful views, fun activities, and excellent dining! :)

The rooms were nice. The pools were too small for the size of the hotel. The beach club was too small and not modern enough isn't that on the ocean so they need to have a bunch more fabulous peace club. The food was good and the service was nice. The spa service was nice, but they don't have an actual Spa so they just converted hotel rooms and that's a little tacky.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful! Everything was perfect, only thing I would want to change is adding heating to the pools!

It was great stay! All foods were super delicious, my room was clean, rooftop pool during sunset was beautiful. And when I told them before my stay that I was visiting for my honeymoon, they prepared sweets in my room. It was surprising! I 'll visit again some day.

Room view is amazing, staff are great, and the swimming pools are beautiful. Only improvement is the buffet food. But the room service of breakfast is good, especially the Regional Breakfast.
