The host had strong communication throughout our stay. The apartment location was as advertised. We had a great view of the ocean and the lagoon. It is a condo located inside a hotel. Unless you pay for the all inclusive package through the hotel you cannot use the bars or restaurant. They do have a coffee shop that will sell pastries, sandwiches, etc…we chose to use the grocery store, which is an easy bus ride, and take advantage of the kitchen in the unit. The bed was comfortable and we had a towel and bed linen refresh half way through our 11 day stay.The gym was small but adequate. Our host brought us tennis racquets and balls so we enjoyed the tennis court. Every day we went for a walk on the beach. Across the street and within easy walking distance are two restaurants and an OXXO convenience store that sells fresh fruit, vegetables, and has a hot food station where a lady cooks breakfast and lunch foods. That’s where we replenished our water supply.The condo water is not drinkable (potable) and there is no kitchen sink. We washed our dishes in the bathroom sink. We covered the faucet just so we wouldn’t accidentally use that sink water to brush our teeth.Since we were staying 11 days it would have been nice to have a laundry facility available but ultimately not a big deal. This is an affordable option for a beach front stay in Cancun. It’s a good value.
