Great property, amazing staff and service but the rooms are looking a little rough. Scratched, broken, peeling, and stained furniture. Wobbly and hard to slide doors. Mirrors were clean but stained and scraped along the edges. The place was very clean, don’t get me wrong, but it’s starting to get quite worn and dingy. Besides that, I’d recommend this resort to others. The check in process, as with many other resorts, could be a lot better.

I would not recommend this resort due to the numerous issues encountered during our stay. While the resort's aesthetic appeal and cleanliness were commendable, our experience with restaurant reservations was consistently subpar throughout our 5-night stay. The staff often struggled to accommodate our party or requested additional compensation for a table. Unfortunately, many staff members displayed unprofessional behavior, seemingly driven by the expectation of extra gratuity. The service was slow, with wait times exceeding an hour for basic requests, such as a bucket of ice. Additionally, securing pool chairs required an early rise, typically before 6:30 am.

We booked the diamond experience on the property that came with 3 butlers. Sarah was amazing! Alejandro was very good, Ulysses was terrible. I also felt like the person who checked me in was not very accomodating when my niece wantes to stay an extra night and I tried to add her to my room. He first told me to go through expedia. Then expedia told me.to speak to the property. Then i went back to hom and he said no because the room was at capacity. The booking says the room sleeps four and there were 3 people in there. I could not understand how this was at capacity. He also could not help us to book a new room, he told us to do it online.

Desde antes de llegar un persona del hotel, nos hizo un fraude por 32,000 pesos intenta gestionar un cambio de fecha, la persona contesta en el hotel y luego se comunica de otro número y desde ahí hace el fraude. El servicio fatal los meseros y el personal atienden de muy mala manera Las toalla viejas Un olor a humedad No había caray mayones ni mostaza para hoy dog y hamburguesas Se les acababa el hielo Pedías un plato en el restaurante y te decía que apenas iban a comprar los ingredientes No volvería a hospedarme ahí y jamás lo recomendaría

The smell of the buffet was absolutely awful every meal it smelled like a backed up sewer. The pool needed maintenance and cleaning, our family suite was in horrible disarray as the pull out couch didn't hold a mattress and one had to be brought to me and the couch was so stained we wouldn't even sit on it. also found small but dead cockroaches in our room must be from fuming or pesticide treatment? 4 out of 15 of our party became ill and cost us a few days of our trip, vomitting and diarrhea. 3.5 stars in my opinion

Service was extremely slow everywhere. We have stayed here 5 times and this was by far the worst experience. We leave tips every time we order a drink or sit down. First two days we tried to do sit down lunch at Armadillo and Italian and it took 3 hours both days. Dinner with reservations took multiple hours each night. Diamond club package not worth the money. Reservations were still extremely hard to get. Butler’s not responding. Diamond club bars out of all premium liquor for most of our stay. We will not be back.

We had a wonderful time! Every meal was great, the omelettes were fantastic at breakfast and there was always something new to try at the buffet. Each of us had a different favorite for the dinner restaurants but no one disliked any. There was a learning curve on how to get a good cocktail but the lobby bar was the best. I found asking for a brand of liquor helped in the proper strength (for us, we’re professionals). Getting pool chairs is a system that could use some work. There were a few terse moments we witnessed with people arguing over who saved the chairs first. The entertainment was great fun at night and we really enjoyed the water workouts during the day. The WiFi was a little troublesome and the app worked most of the time. Definitely need the app to see what’s happening each day. Our concierge Victor L. was simply the best! He was most helpful in getting our reservations and some special deliveries to our room. Ice is a hot commodity and not convenient in procuring. Victor helped at night but having ice machines would make a world of difference. The gift shop was horrendously overpriced so be sure to bring enough sunscreen and after sun care, travel mugs and basic medicine cabinet fare. Victor was helpful again with ordering some things from the pharmacy for us that saved the day when our daughter got a touch of sun poisoning. Do not skimp on the spf and reapplying! The maid staff did a great job every day cleaning and restocking the room. Staff was so friendly!

Although, there are many restaurants to eat from and you need reservations but in buffet restaurant where you do no need reservations, we found there were a very few vegetarian options, rest was all meet. I think they need to more inclusive considering the vegetarian/vegan food choices.
