Andres and Iban were excellent. All staff was friendly and attentive, however these two went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. You could tell they love what they do and care about the people they interact with to some extent. Also, the young lady that runs the pool bar was so sweet and attentive as well. We loved our stay. We will be coming back solely due to the excellent staff. The hours of cilantro could have been better. We went for 5 days and it was only open for one night. We came to mexico for mexican food, so only having one mexican option on the resort open for one night only was disheartening. Other than that, it was awesome.

They don’t serve liquor till 11am. There is only 1 buffet, 1 restaurant and 1 snack bar. Food is always the same. Room service always cold and old. Staff are amazing and friendly. Rooms are large and comfortable Transportation to its other 3 Hotels is free and easy. Fun activities

Started with Johnathan greeting us with amazing customer service, then Rodrigo showing us great hospitality to our rooms. Than Armando & Ruben from the La Pergola were the best! Every day we saw these individuals they showed us some much love and comfort. The Spa is amazing! Margarita, Christina, Luisa, and the manager showed my wife and I a once in a life time experience and one we will never forget. The whole staff is amazing, not one bad experience here. We love the Sunset Marina!!

The hotel is not on the beach and they advertise access to the other "sister hotels", but not all-inclusive, you need to pay for your food and drinks on the beach (other hotels). The room view was gorgeous (we had lagoon view; it had a mini kitchen and a large jetted tub on the balcony; the bed was comfy and the shower head was nice. We asked about 3 times to shut off the balcony light and the last person told us it couldn't be shut off, but all the other rooms did not have lights turned on.There are 3 restaurants (not 4). The main buffet/a la carte restaurant, an Asian food with teppanyake and another one that serves snacks till 6pm everyday and it turns into a "Mexican food" restaurant (open 1x/week for dinner). The buffet food varies very little, the food was mostly cold and not great (but omelet was amazing), they can't handle a full restaurant. The entertainment is early and somedays it was pretty lame. The hot tub's jets were uncontrollably strong. The pool is pretty good, swim up bar is a plus. You can't go in the lagoon water at all because of the crocodiles, but we didn't see even a hint of any crocodiles. I was disappointed overall, but depending on the package you get, it may be worth it... I am not sure.
