The room was so bad for the entire 6 days the room smelled like sewage when we complained they just looked at us with confusion.The phone in the room did not work, the pillow cases had strains we asked for them to be changed and when done those cases had strains also.THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE ABSOLUTELY THE WORST I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. The property itself is nice and the staff were kind but i will never visit this location again 1/10 will not recommend

Not happy with everything...elevators are always busy, no Ac inside them. Food is poor quality compared to other resorts. Very noisey, 99% are foolish and young. Cant even sleep.Comlplained to Expedia and the Resort nothing done about it...its an absolute scam..thx

Room design and quality, that was a disappointment for us. Last time we stayed at 3 star hotel in Cancun, and the room was so much better equipped and designed. This hotel seems to be a 4 star so you would expect it better… Everything was outdated, old, mirror had dots like it’s an old one, and the doors paint job was like my grandma did the work with bad vision. It was definitely a different style than the picture online when we were ordering, I already checked it again, furniture looked the same but wall decor and bed were not. No carpet anywhere, everywhere same style tiles, lobby bathrooms, bathroom- all the same. We tried to upgrade it and as we checked the upgraded room it was the same exact room, just bigger and instead of King bed it had 2 twin beds adjoined. Service was great though, the staff was working hard, you could see that. Food was great, lots of options. Multiple restaurants on the property which was a plus. Transportation was great.

Beautiful resort! Riu never disappoints!! We refuse to stay at any other resort. We love how clean everything looks, the food is delicious, the parties are awesome, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The resort has great oceon front rooms with breathtaking view.
