Arrrrrgh. The only complete fail on our trip. Outfitted with Goodwill rejects. Dark, cold, at the end of a long, arduous hike, far from the city center. Grocery store was a harrowing trek up a main artery on a typical Greek obstacle-course sidewalk.

A 15m walk to the old town with some local restaurants nearby (the cheap ones offering genuine gastronomy). The host is amazing. Provided all necessary info on day one.
