We found the home to be very clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable. The host was so helpful with our last minute booking! And I can’t say enough about the location, it was located in the nation park and we were greeted by large herd of elk every time went drove down the driveway. If you are looking for peace and quiet close to GSMNP, this is the place for you! The front porch rockers were the perfect place for morning coffee. The kitchen looks newly renovated and is beautiful! The beds were comfortable. And the house was very clean! We were able to see elk every evening at the bottom of the hill. We will be back!

Wonderful Quiet Home

Our stay was relaxing, just as we hoped. This home is really close to all the hiking trails on Newfound Gap Rd, a few miles to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and much more. If you want a quiet location, this is your spot. Home is comfortable with ample living, dining and kitchen space. The front porch in the morning and evening is so peaceful. The owner was very responsive to anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great, peaceful location with easy access to all the spots we wanted to visit. Cozy & clean. Had a little problem with the plumbing as soon as we arrived, but the host was very fast to send someone to get it fixed and they took care of it within about 30 minutes. We enjoyed the outdoor grilling area, but I would suggest putting some sort of light out there. We had to grill by flashlight. Host was responsive to any issues we had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Relaxation with the Comfort of Home

The home was beautiful inside and out. The owners were so gracious and kind. The home was Very Clean and very comfortable. We truly felt at home and enjoyed our Christmas and New Year at the Farmhouse. When we go back to Cherokee we are definitely going to book the property again.
