Room was quite dirty and basic. I shared photos with the General Manager who was sympathetic said that it was unacceptable and would be putting it right. It’s a shame as the public areas are in good order. I would describe the hotel as a bit tired and needing upgrades but no excuse for dirty switches, room furniture and rusty pedal bins.

Breakfast was basic but good. Sausage,bacon,Scrambked and fried eggs,grilled toms,beans and snall fried potatoes.Just 2 choice of flavoured yoghurts,no plain or Greek yoghurt.4 types of cereals and plenty of honey,jams and marmalade with toast .Pot of tea wasnt very good and coffee just tasted of warm water so used my sachets from the bedroom.Staff at reception and at breakfast where very helpful and friendly but the receptionist on Friday didnt inform us of booking for every breakfast session.Bar staff very helpful and friendly and prices not bad too.Bedroom was good size with a double and 2 single beds.Bathroom clean and tidy and housekeeping staff were great as we asked for extra milk and coffee.
