Excellent location

Hotel in excellent location , very central to Chester and walkable for everything . Room fine with hairdryer and iron . Was a bit hot as the windows wouldn’t open

Poor breakfast

Poor breakfast service. Self service but Ran out of juice, glasses, bread, beans, eggs, waited 15 min for replacement beans gave up on eggs 🤣, room ok but nothing to write home about, but like a green house and windows sealed shut, air con helps after a bit but only near the unit not the full room, we shut curtains to aid but very little lighting in room and not what you want to do when the suns out ☀️☀️

Room was dirty in need of total refurb supposed to have been delux suite hate to think what standard rooms were like. Lots of mould filthy internal widow sills. Stains on lamp shades, walls, around shower. Please don’t book to stay at this awful hotel

Can do better

The room was very comfortabke with very nice beds. Some of the decor is dated. Very disapointed with the breakfast service and the lacknof a resturant. Bar does not serve pints and its only bottles. Good but the breakfast was very poor .... Reason wasnt the food it was the service...got waiter service one day the next day it was help yiurself with not enough food and whennit came it was cold.

Directly in the city centre. Nice design of common spaces. Room a little outdated. Single room not big, but okay. There was noise from a ventilation outside of my room. Very good breakfast (payed before 12£, in the morning 16 £ Continental, 22 £ full.

Property ideally centrally located. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Room could do with an update, towel rail connection held together with tape, dusty in some areas, generally clean, no remote for tv but can be controlled by buttons on the side of the tv, this gives you restrictive control.
