The location is great for Navy Pier and downtown lake events. The rooms are good size and offer great views. We found some confused with the elevator bays. There are 3 of them that access the 3 buildings so make sure to listen to which one to take for your room. Parking is expensive but comparable to other city hotels. Lots of restaurants and activities within walking distance. If your main purpose is to be in city center this may not be the hotel for you because it will take some walking and/or public transportation to manuveur out of the navy pier area. If you plan to stay near the lakefront this would be a great place to stay with access to beaches via walking path, museums via water taxi or walking. The Sable definitely gives you the vacation feel.

This is the first time ever staying at this hotel and I didn’t even know it was there. It made spending the day at navy pier with my family convenient and our room was the perfect spot to watch the fireworks! Amazing room, we will be back again!

No Room service, or coffee in room (they ran out), luggage racks or working in room phone. Calling for coffee service as they offered, meant a transfer to the local restaurant who then ordered from Starbucks and had a couple paper cups brought up. Very bare bones, sofas very worn, tattered & oddly 1 chair for the table in a double room?

The property is beautiful. Walkable and amenable and the views are amazing. We have a few complaints. 1. Shower area-water comes out and creates a puddle 2. HVAC system in the room is noisy 3. Toilet has to be adjusted in order for water not to keep running.. Everything else was excellent

The Sable was a nice property. We had a lovely room looking out on the water and boardwalk. The hotel is convenient to many attractions and restaurants on the Navy Pier. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and so friendly. The hotel desk staff always greeted us when we walked through the door and always asked if they could help us. I did not realize how big the hotel is and thought there was a lot of empty hallways to get to the elevators. We ate breakfast one day in Lirica. The staff and manager were Wonderful. The food was okay. We chose not to go back to breakfast the second day. We did order room service. That was okay and prompt. This is a nice hotel and convenient to visit Chicago and the Navy Pier. We easily utilized Ubers. There seemed to be a lot of construction on the one side of the buildings. Not sure what that was about.

All staff, and especially Ernest and the Valet staff were polite, accommodating, and went out of their way to provide an excellent experience! From sharing how to navigate my stay (where to find what) to answering all of my questions about fitness center access, food and fun - the entire staff made me fell welcome and valued.
