We very much enjoyed our stay here. Great central location right next to the tram station and two theatres! The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Bathroom was very well appointed and the shower was roomy with great soft water and good pressure. Unfortunately our request for a room high up with a view was not granted, so we looked against a big plain wall of the next building. Otherwise we would stay again.

Right in the center of the city but still nice and quiet. Rooms comfortable. Staff were all very friendly, had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious.

Fabel Christchurch

We all get a bit disappointed when we expect something different to what we receive, I was basing my expectations on Fable Dunedin. Unfortunately I “kicked” the raised tiling at the ChCh hotel 3 times on the way into the bathroom before I learned to step over it. I also had to ask for my complimentary bottle of wine (gold member) vs Dunedin that had it waiting in the room.

The room was nice enough, a bunch of the lights didn't work. For the price I wouldn't recommend. Also was a. Looking fo a couple and got put on the lowest floor looking out onto some old decrepit building roof, so not the greatest. Locations nearby are good and everything is walking distance. Staff on checkout looked very unclean (uniform wise).

Good for a nights stay (we arrived well past midnight so don’t really have a chance to use the facilities), however a bit dated and the room was a tad small. Also went else wear for breakfast as the options weren’t great. Reception staff were great
