This is a well kept, attractive hotel, facing the sea and promenade. Convenient to the port and train station. They have a nice breakfast buffet and all the amenities you could want. In a word, lovely.

Mixed impressions…

This is a tired old hotel but clean and well maintained. It lacks modern conveniences like places to plug and charge devices. The heat/AC is controlled seasonally at some central point regardless of the actual weather. My breakfast croissant was stale. Otherwise it served its purpose for an overnight stay prior to a cruise leaving from Civitavecchia

The hotel is located in an excellent area, less than a 5 min walk to the train station and 1 block away from the red bus (for €6 take you right into the port of your ship). The hotel is quite good, the only reason it got 4 stars rather than 5 is because the shower pressure is really low. Aside from that, the hotel is truly recommendable to stay.

Don't stay here

The hotel was extremely run down and looks nothing like its photos. We booked a sea view junior suite and was not given one- told that junior suites do not come with a view. Front desk staff was rude. The room was very hot and uncomfortable for our whole stay. The front desk staff said the owners turn it iff this time of the year. There was no hot water! (I paid 238.00 a night.) The staff did not apologize and simply said theyd make a note of it. Breakfast was an additional 12.00 per person. Very bad experience! Total rip off.
