The hotel is fine for a night before a flight but after booking a double room months in advance we were upset when told ‘they’d given our double to someone else and only had a twin room’ …. not a great thing to do that !

The rooms are nice but just be aware it has VERY LIMITED parking on site. We booked it as it advertised parking so that we could get to the airport early the next day, we arrived late in the day and there was no parking on site. We were told to park a 10 minute walk away in an unsecured car park which we were not willing to do as we had our suitcases in the car. Eventually the manager found a place for us to leave the car as we were leaving first thing but we very nearly walked out and found somewhere with parking on site.

Please please fix the issues with the bathroom vent. It varies room to room but depending on who you speak to, you initially get fobbed off with "they're all like that". But they're not, some rooms are much quieter whereas some have a much higher noise volume that is not conducive to sleep - really bad when you're on a client work trip. Would love and even PAY for a premium option for a guaranteed quiet room located in the back instead of overlooking main road & the bathroom fan making a racket - I normally have to ask to switch rooms and no one enjoys that!

Hotel was nice and modern. Location was great. Near the airport and got a shuttle early in the morning from the hotel to the airport which was very convenient. Also was able to walk a short distance to a small shopping area.

Gatwick overnight

One night stay for Gatwick flight. Staff friendly and helpful and room was comfortable although a little stuffy as windows don't open and air con seemed a bit hit and miss. Used the shuttle bus for the return although the local bus was very efficient and would proably have been quicker overall.
