Had issue with a room at check in awful smell but went to front desk and they changed rooms for us other than the smelly 1st room great stay as always also no complementary coffee in morning 2.50 for just coffee that’s usually free in hotel

Untrained Staff, Hidden Fees & Parking Nightmare

A few things 1) Hidden Fees 2) Paid Shared Parking Lot with limited spaces (even if you don’t have a vehicle it’s $2.17) 3) Staff Untrained 1) Hidden Fees - there is a PARKING LOT FEE of $2.17 a day & $100 a night hold. The hold is the highest I’ve seen in DFW for no reason but not really the issue. Issue is mostly a parking lot fee which brings us to 2) You still have to pay for parking, even if you don’t have a car. AND It’s public parking…. It’s shared, public parking for all the businesses AND APARTMENTS. So you will NOT be parked anywhere close to the hotel and there is no valet. You are paying $2.17 to park your car a block away on a Saturday night. And 3) I asked for a receipt for the $2.17 for business expense report: both the guy overnight and the morning girl gave it to me. One said he didn’t know how, the other said she’d print it out for me and never did.
