The owner/manager is the absolute worst type of person to be in his position. Hangs up on customers and refuses to take phone calls. He will not help solve issues or even attempt to have a conversation about issues. Absolutely the worst hotel i have ever come across in my life!!! Choice hotel brand should be ashamed to be associated with this gentleman!!

The hot tub has been closed for months now, One is to assume that they are not going to repair it. The breakfast is mediocre at best. The rooms are OK! It’s funny how these hotels take away their amenities and yet they still want full price for the stay !

Disgusting. Stains on bed, cracks on wall, stained everything. Breakfast was gross and old. Only good thing was the staff as they were friendly. Avoid if you can.

I do not recommend this hotel, poor services, there where no iron, nor the table where to iron cloth. I had to ask at the front door before the get me an iron, with no table, so I ironed my clothes on the bed. There were bugs in the room.

Place has gone downhill year after year.

Staff barely speaks English and had to call some One to figure out my reservation. Breakfast area and food was sub par. Other freinds staying this weekend had leaky toilet and a bed sunken in the middle and stained towels. I’ve stayed here for 5 years and it only gets worse every stay. I’m booked for next weekend and it’s my last time here……

Nice Hotel

Son and I came to town for an event downtown. Room was nice and staff was ver friendly! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting or staying Des Moines.

They had bed bugs and I was bitten twice beforei realizedwhat was happeningto my arm. They moved me to another room but i did not sleep at all after that. Literally stayed up until the sun rose for 2 nights straight. I was soo paranoid.
