I was disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed. We were not informed of this until we checked in. It would have been nice to offer a discount/partial refund. The reason I booked this hotel was too keep two kids in my family occupied with the pool while another kid in my family was at the skate park all day for a competition. I definitely would not have paid this much for a hotel without a pool/hot tub. I was pretty sore after driving all day to get here from another state, which was another reason for me booking a hotel with a hot tub. My hotel reservation through expedia was fully paid for and non-refundable, so I was stuck with it. Overall, we were disappointed. This was the first time in a couple of years that I've stayed at a Holiday Inn and I will probably avoid them going forward and stick to Marriott.
