Cantón Quepos accommodation from NZ$162

When I booked this vacation I was excited because the resort was located near Manuel Antonio and I could easily access many of the attractions in the area! I was also interested in a smaller boutique resort that would cater to the occupants no matter how small or big the request may be! Let me share that Shana by the Beach delivered 1000%! The room was a spacious oceanfront view with a full sized refrigerator..stove…microwave and dishwasher (not that these items were really used) 😜 Upon entering the room there was a bottle of wine on the countertop and a welcome placard on the king sized bed. When I booked I included breakfast in the package and it is a Buffet style breakfast with many offerings from rice & beans, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, omelette station and breads (toast, croissants & danishes). It gets the job done..so I felt it was a good call to include! The check-in/out was smooth and the staff were super friendly! There are golf carts available to take guests to their rooms, pool and restaurant areas of the resort. The larger pool was under maintenance and there was a 2nd pool to use. There is a daily happy hour that begins at 3p and drinks are 2 for 1…you gotta take advantage of that deal! The beach is located behind the resort…about a 10 minute walk through a trail (be aware you will encounter wildlife-lizards, snakes, monkeys 🐒 etc.). Please be prepared for the hike back to the resort…bring water shoes because it is rustic beach. Great Resort!

WE LOVE Parador Hotel! The staff was so kind, the food was so delicious, we stayed in the suite, and it was AMAZING. Loved every minute!

Fantastic place right in the middle of Quepos. Fantastic pool and bar area and lots of pricay. Would stay again!
