LGBT Welcoming Hotels in Texas

Extra charges for early check in. Put us so far from the elevator - it was like a maze to get to! They didn’t have change for the laundry. When we asked about food options, we were told to go to the gas station!!! The laundry room was nice.

I picked this hotel because it was cost-effective, but also had great reviews, and I cannot figure out where those great reviews came from. The fixtures in the rooms are very old… The shower grates are gross, there was rust on the bathroom door frame, and tiny fruit flies in the room. The furniture looks like the same furniture you find in a state run nursing home facility. If I was staying more than a single night. I would’ve switched hotels.

Great hotel location with very professional, attentive, and helpful staff who made the stay pleasant and welcoming. The room size was spacious and comfortable. However, the carpet and sofa appeared dated, and there was a lingering food smell coming from the kitchen area. Unfortunately, my allergies became much worse inside the room at night, which interrupted my sleep quite a bit. Despite these issues, the staff’s excellent service and the convenient location were definite highlights of the stay.
