The pillows were hard. As a wheelchair user it was quite difficult to access the hotel and restaurant although the staff were quick to provide a ramp at the entrance there were steps to the dining room

Wonderful place to stay. The biggest issue we had was having to change elevators going to 3 getting off and going to another elevator and going to D and reversing the process to get back to the lobby. It would be at least a little easier if guests were given a printed copy of directions when checking in. We weren't the only guests that were getting lost. It was frustrating.

We loved the hotel and location. What I didn't like was how late the breakfast opened. We had several tour that picked us up at 7am and we had no time to eat since it opened at 645am. Although we received a breakfast to go its not the same.

Loved everything about our stay, except the internet/wifi service. Logging in was a crazy involved process, and half the time you never got connected. Sometimes, my phone was connected, while my iPad was denied access. Luckily, I didn't have any pressing need. But, one of our group did and was unable to get much help from the staff. I did love that our room did not have any carpet, the bathroom was spacious. The shower had plenty of water pressure and the water got hot.

The Gresham Hotel is an historic building that has been maintained to a high standard. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. I will stay again when i am in Dublin next.

Exceeded Epectations

What stood out the most was the number of friendly, knowledgeable staff members on hand to assist with questions or provide service whether it was in the lobby area, restaurant areas or bar. We were on vacation and unfamiliar with the area and needed guidance with regards to the area and transportation availability. A staff member was always able to answer these questions. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the hotel location was great and the restaurants there were terrific. Numerous sitting areas in the reception area provide places to just sit and relax.

Beautiful old hotel

The hotel itself was lovely and the service was amazing. We arrived before noon after several weeks of travelling. The hotel had a room ready for us to check right into to put our feet up and relax. Breakfast the next morning was very delicious with a huge variety of choices, right up to a big irish fry. Great way to end our vacation.

Excellent location for walking and getting bus access to airports.literally right in front of hotel! O’Connel street very busy but safe during the day. Did not go out after 7pm.The city kept the street clean despite the busy traffic and people. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast excellent. Rooms quiet and shower had hot water and great water pressure.very nice hotel.

A little disappointed.

The service was impeccable. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were very clean, and the public areas were lovely. However, for the money (or less) we could have gotten comparable value elsewhere. The room was quite small. We compared with a friend who stayed at Aloft the same night - we wish we had stayed there. Could we at least have gotten a couple of free water bottles in our room?

Poor Reception

The service at Reception was not ideal. I was hosting a meeting with my Customer Excellence management team. I had a meeting room booked. Checking in - half of the team had checked in on-line yet they had to repeat the full process the same as those that had not - why? I was expecting to be shown to our meeting room and introduced. There was no key for the room. I had to return to reception, asked for this after much moving around i was told to go back down with one of your team. He started looking in the other meeting rooms and then asked me why I wanted to change rooms. I explained I had no reason to change room, I wanted a key to lock our room so we could pop out. I then had to return to reception after he called ahead to tell them. When I got there, I had to wait for someone to come from out back to prepare the key. This cost a lot of wasted time in my meeting. For the cost of this room, I thought this was appalling.
