The room was very clean and equipped with everything that was needed for our duration of the trip! Located up north about 20 minute walk from center Dublin. The only issue we had was the shower either having scalding hot water or antarctica ice water - No issues due to the room, just think it maybe due to hot water boiler. Other then the shower couldn't have gotten a more comfortable stay!

It was unusually hot in Dublin this time of the year. The property has no A/C or fans, this caused extremely hot inside the property and made it very uncomfortable to sleep and miserable. We asked for a fan, the property person responding via text asked us to open the windows. With the location being near downtown, the outside noises made is very hard to get some good rest. There was no staff to contact, all the communications were through WhatsApp app.

Great budget choice

Great choice for budget travellers, making them not have to sleep rough on the street, with facilities most travellers basically need. Most important of all, they offer breakfast!

OVERPRICED AND AWFUL. KGT House is incredibly noisy -inside and out. Heard every step taken in the room above ours. Floors creak very, very loudly all the time, not just now and then. And we heard every second of our neighbour's showers. Traffic and street noise is deafening. Our bedroom window latch was broken. Thought that contributed to the noise level but it was just as bad in the other room.Say goodbye to sleep if you stay at KGT House. Say goodbye to safety too. No fire escape on our floor or the one below. Can't believe this is allowed. You can see a fire escape on the back of the building but can't seem.to access it as the windows beside it don't open wide enough. I checked. Check-in was terrible. Just before arriving, we were sent an email with a code to get into the building, despite no prior advice this would be the case. There is no lift and we had to negotiate narrow stairs with luggage to get to our room and enter another code to get one key despite there being two guests. The access code to the building was changed on day two of our stay with no prior warning. We were supposed to have a double bed but it didn't feel like we got one. Unless I kept my head at the very top of the bed, my feet were hanging over the end of it and I'm not tall. If I did keep my head at the top of the bed, the sheets and quilt only reached my waist. Too cold for that and there is no air con. The TV didn't work. Sent an email about it - n
