I feel like I fluked booking this property. The location was incredible, hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was lovely. Nice breakfast option in the morning. I only wish my stay was longer.

The location of the hotel was excellent for the train, transit and the sites of Edinburgh. Our room had a smell of old smoke. It definitely took away from what would have been an excellent experience.

The hotel is in an incredible location, next to the rail station and handy to many of the major tourist sites in Edinburgh. The building’s renovations are tasteful and well done and the Motel One styling is great, but it is an older building, which showed through in some features. In particular, I felt like airflow in the room wasn’t quite up to par. The breakfast looked delicious, but I went with other local options. Housekeeping was excellent.

Perfect

Front desk staff were very attentive and fast checkin. Room very comfortable and clean, hot water and a/c. Our room was in the back so the view from the room was amazingly beautiful. We were there for one night didn’t ate at the hotel.

Perfect location! Impeccable hotel!

Perfect location in front of Waverly metro and train station, taxi corner and airport transfer right at the bridge. Castle snd museums, Royal mile all about 7 minutes up hill. Restaurants and pubs all around it. Service impeccable, great views and great food. Thank you mitelnone, you were amazing. If I ever come back to Scotland, I will stay with you again!!!
