Great stay overall. The hotel was clean and modern, staff were friendly.The main issue was the shower – missing a door, which left water all over the bathroom. Also, check-in could be improved with the better overview of amenities and state details, which are usually standard at similar hotels. Still, comfortable and pleasant experience.

We loved the position of the hotel- so central. It was modern and well designed rooms- on the small side but very comfortable. The bathrooms need somewhere to hang towels and a tea towel would be useful to have for the kitchenette. We loved the get-together in the evening where we could have a drink and meet fellow guests. A brilliant idea!

This is a fairly new hotel and the room size and condition of the hotel were very nice. We would stay here again when in Edinburgh. About 6-7 blocks away from a vibrate shopping area. Several restaurants and bars nearby.

Place was excellent, very clean and staff in the hotel were fantastic. Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and again with the staff, very warm and welcoming, it was great. The hotel location (what a view from my 6th floor room!), grounds and design were absolutely beautiful. But what really put The Resident over the top was the staff! Every single one of them was helpful, friendly, and available at any time for any need or question. I would 100% recommend a stay at this location.
