The location couldn't be better. The hotel is basic but is good value because of its location.

This hotel opened its doors in July 2017, during our stay we experienced numerous teething problems which caused a huge disruption to our stay. Upon arrival the room we had been given had no electricity. The hotel moved us to a new room however we had booked a twin room and the room they offered had only one bed so they put us back in the original room and got an electrician up to fix the electrics. It took over an hour of messing around before we could finally settle into our room. When we returned from dinner the first night once again the electricity in the room wasn't working and we had to get someone up to fix it (at 12am) before we could get ready for bed. The next morning after we had breakfast - the buffet breakfast at the hotel is one of its good points - we couldn't gain access to the room once again due to an electric fault. The hotel offered nothing in the way of compensation for these disturbances (asides from a 10 euro taxi fare reimbursement which we insisted upon as we were late for a conference due to the delay in gaining access to our room). All up it was a disappointing experience. I understand a new building may come with some problems but I felt the way the staff dealt with it could have been better. The bill had been paid upfront so we couldn't negotiate a discount upon check out. A complimentary bottle of wine sent up to the room would have been appreciated for example. The hotel itself is very modern and clean but lacks any character.
