WELCOME TO WILGA STATION - Just 12 minutes from historic Bathurst and 40 minutes from the wine country of Orange, Wilga Station is a 260 acre working sheep farm that’s been home to the Keith family for three generations.
The Shearers Hall (formerly the family's shearing shed) allows you to enjoy a taste of iconic Australian history with style and sophistication. We’ve kept the sheep shutes (under glass) and the old wool table now holds pride of place in the entertaining area – all it needs is some food, wine and plenty of laughter.
We’ve reused and repurposed as much material as possible from the farm to create a unique, luxury getaway that is distinctively Australian. With 5 bedrooms and 2 designer bathrooms, The Shearers Hall is the place to come with family and friends. It’s convivial, relaxed and located at the very heart of the farm with wide ranging views over the Fitzgeralds Valley.
Only guests of Wilga Station are allowed on the property, so you'll enjoy exclusive access to the farm, including our natural swimming pond and pontoon, bush walking tracks and creek and - NOW OPEN - an enormous Kitchen forage garden adjoining the Shearers Hall, where guests can harvest the freshest fruit, vegetables and herbs to use during their stay!
