5 stars with a caveat. My husband stayed two nights. He is used to pretty high-end hotels that he would stay at for business travel in California and New York. He loved this hotel and stated it was very clean and staff was great. Bed was comfortable. His only had two things he felt needed improvement. He was unable to adjust the temperature of the room and he likes to sleep in a fridge. So it was too hot for him. Not sure if every room is like this or if there was an issue with the thermostat in his room. Second, was you could not black out the room and being this was on the main street of Fargo and lots of streetlights and businesses, his room was pretty lit up. He said that some dark curtains would be nice. Other than that, he enjoyed his stay. He still considered it excellent.

The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated, great location with great views of the downtown area. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, loved the coffee and pastries that were brought to your room, if you wanted them and also their turn down service with truffles and soft music. The wine, cheese and crackers were at great touch also during their happy hour. Definitely will stay here again!!!

Everything was PERFECT! From the check in with the courteous staff (we forgot something in the car after valet. They went to car and delivered it to our door, in under 10 minutes, after we called!), the complementary wine and cheese hour, the turn down service (they dimmed the lights, cleaned up, put a chill jazz cd on, AND left delicious truffles!), to waking up to fresh coffee and pastries also delivered right to our door! They made my birthday weekend one I will not forget!

Most of our experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff were kind and friendly. The cheese and crackers offered around 5–6 PM were delicious, and the breakfast delivery service was excellent. The room was clean and stylish, and the bed was comfortable. We spent most of our time in the room this stay, and it was easy to relax and unwind while watching TV. There was just one issue. On Friday night, the heavy bass music coming from the bar or restaurant downstairs was quite loud. It was strong enough that we could feel the floor slightly vibrating, and from what I remember, it didn’t stop until around midnight. We had already checked out by Saturday night, so we only know about Friday night, and this was the only disappointing part of an otherwise great stay.

Beds and linens were comfy, breakfast pastries could have been fresher (and coffee hotter, staff was very nice. There’s a lot of nice dining options downtown but if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll need earplugs with all of the emergency responders driving by.
