MOSQUITOS!!! Near the river - not close enough for a view, but close enough for LOTS of MOSQUITOS.. no fan in the room, west sun heating up the room.. had to open the window for ventilation.. no screen. FALSELY advertises AC- NO AC!!! Not even a fan in the room. Falsely advertises room service. When i asked about room service hotel replied i was not even allowed to eat food in my room at all. HORRIBLE experience. Do not recommend. Absolutely AWFUL ..

It’s only two stars so don’t expect too much. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are cozy, the air conditioning was essential on 40c days in August. It’s across the street from the river and in a pleasant residential neighborhood and a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio and the central tourist locations in Florence. Good breakfast with fresh cut fruit as well as all the typical options.

Great. Wifi wórked great, room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Breakfast good. About 10-15 mibs walk to palazzo. Nice walk. Room has avout 15 mosquitos in which cant be helped but you should be prepared

Budget stay in Florance

The hotel will meet your expectations if you keep in mind - you get what you pay for. The room was sufficient. It served its purpose, which was to put me in proximity to the city center. I walked everywhere and it took a good 30 min to the center, but it’s a pleasant walk and goes by quickly. The breakfast was decent. Nothing exciting but it will get you going for the day. I would recommend the hotel to anyone on a budget and wants to see Florence.

We liked the location, across the street from river walk, with various popup restaurants in the summer. Location was lively and is about a 12 minute cab ride to all the main attractions. Our room was decent, beds were comfortable, but was a bit cramped. Bathroom was also very small and shower floor flooded. No fridge in the room either. Breakfast was minimal, with assorted pastries, coffee machine and two kinds of ham to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff was so nice and friendly at Hotel Arno. Ermal was our favorite! Breakfast every morning was great, and it was in a very good location, great walk-ability! The only downside was that the AC had been turned off for the season, and there are no screens on the windows, so we got some mosquito bites during the night.
