The staff were great, the breakfast is put as one of the best points of the hotel. On the Saturday it was all cold I don't think the serving plates were switched on. I know not the hotels fault but kids running about and shouting at 10pm and 5.30 am also running over the furniture also dogs on furniture. Bed comfy but sofa scruffy lots of stains.

Early morning train to Calais so did not want to take a chance with the traffic/weather with our drive from Leicestershire. Hotel is conveniently placed about a 10 minute drive from the Channel Tunnel. Room was large/clean & quiet. Lots of restaurants within a 10 minute drive; we ate at a small Thai which was really good. Breakfast was good and quick. Overall have paid much more for less.

I booked a double room but had a bed that was two mattresses pushed together, at did not even stay together! My room had an adjoining door to the room next door so i could hear everytblhing on the other side, the television did not work due to no internet signal, and the heating was so poor we woke up freezing! Terrible run down hotel.
