The hotel is in overall good condition, generally clean, and the location is unbeatable if you like the beach. There was construction on a huge building next door but with the sliding glass door shut I slept just fine.
The housekeeping could be improved. I called down the second day around 1:00 and nobody ever came. I had to call again to get new towels. Finally, they came on day four and they missed several things. They changed the sheets, but not the pillow cases. They did not put any new water bottles in the fridge. They only gave us one small wash rag for two people.
Generally, the staff were helpful, although the bar staff both at the pool and downstairs did not go out of their way to help you - they seemed not so excited to have to help you. Probably because gratuity was automatically included.
The food we ordered at the pool was good.
One huge compliment - we arrived around noon from the airport and our room was ready. That was amazing!
