I booked a room at the last minute at a reduced amount I found on Expedia. It was a large studio with a queen size Murphy Bed. The layout was a bit strange but there was limited areas to place the TV. It was attached to one of the sides of the Murphy Bed so it could be seen from the living area with the sofa and chairs
The kitchen was well laid out with a full size fridge and stove/oven. A new microwave was placed over the stove. The fridge and stove were older but functional.All flatware, dinnerware and pots and pans were all in good shape. Not sure about the laundry because I didn't use it.
The whole place is a little dated but still clean and looks to be well maintained. I was fortunate to get a room facing the ocean and had a very nice balcony along with chairs and a small table. It overlooks a big pond along with several bbq pits. Not too many were here visiting so it was pretty quiet.
All in all, it is definitely a great place to stay for couples and families. It's a little far from some of the popular beaches and the Pompano Pier. You would need to get a ride to those places. But it is walking distance in the other direction towards Hillsboro Lighthouse.
